Ethiogemstone is a Dubai-based gemstone trading company built around a deep belief: that Ethiopia holds some of the world's most extraordinary gemstones, and they deserve to be seen, held, and treasured by collectors and jewelers across the globe.
We travel directly to our three primary sourcing regions: Guji in Oromia, our main origin for exceptional opal and emerald, Welo, renowned for its crystal and fire opal, and Tigray, source of some of Ethiopia's finest collector stones. In each region, we build direct relationships with local miners and cooperatives.
From Ethiopia, material that calls for it travels to Thailand, home to some of the world's finest lapidaries. In the cutting rooms of Chanthaburi, master craftsmen unlock the full potential of each stone.
