Ethiogemstone evaluates rough and cut gemstones from mining cooperatives, dealers, cutters and private sellers. Based in Dubai, buying primarily Ethiopian material.
We're most active buyers of Ethiopian gemstone material: rough or cut opal, emerald, tourmaline and sapphire. We also review other natural coloured gemstones on a case-by-case basis. We do not buy synthetic, treated-beyond-standard, or undisclosed material, and we don't publish fixed prices — every parcel is evaluated on its own merits.
Send us a description of what you have — gemstone type, approximate weight, known origin, and any treatment or certification information — along with clear photographs. We reply personally to review whether it's a fit for us to make an offer. For larger parcels or higher-value single stones, we may ask for the material to be sent for in-person examination before any offer is made.
Ready to submit a stone? Contact us with details, or message us directly on WhatsApp.
If your material is rough, tell us what you know about the locality it came from — this matters more for value in coloured stones than in almost any other collectible category. See how we think about rough gemstones as buyers, not just sellers.
If your material is already cut, include cut style, dimensions, and certification if you have it. See our cut & polished gemstones page for the kind of finished material we typically carry.
As a Dubai-based dealer with direct Ethiopian sourcing relationships, we're positioned to evaluate material quickly and, where it's a fit, structure a straightforward transaction. If you're a gemstone dealer or trader in Dubai looking for a direct buyer, or a private seller anywhere in the world with Ethiopian material, we want to hear from you.
A mixed parcel of the kind of rough material we evaluate.
We primarily evaluate rough and cut Ethiopian gemstones, including opal, emerald, tourmaline and sapphire, as well as other natural coloured gemstones. Send details and photos through our contact form and we will let you know if it's a fit.
Both. We evaluate rough crystal as well as finished, cut stones.
We work with mining cooperatives, dealers, cutters and private sellers who have gemstone material to offer. Every submission is reviewed individually.
Contact us by WhatsApp, email or the inquiry form with a description of the material (type, weight, origin if known) and photographs. We reply personally to every inquiry.
